CLASS GIVING AT A GLANCE
Our class is on a mission to present a $50,000 gift to Hampton University at graduation in 2026. Hampton’s fiscal year began July 1, and in just over three months, we’ve raised $6,000—an encouraging start, but we still have a long way to go. Historically, 80% of our giving comes from fewer than 10 classmates, and in 2024, 44 classmates donated over $33,000, with one donor contributing a third of that total. To leave a lasting legacy, we need participation from the entire class—every gift counts.

A legacy this rich deserves a collection to match. The official Ogre Phi Ogre merch drop is coming — a limited release crafted for every class that carries the name with pride. Inspired by decades of tradition and designed with timeless intention, each piece honors the spirit that began in ’69 and continues to define us today. This isn’t just merch — it’s heritage, reimagined.
Our reunion is powered by classmates who step up to lead and lend a hand. Planning committees are now forming for logistics, fundraising, communications, and event programming. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your involvement will make our reunion unforgettable.

That’s right! The Ogre Phi Ogre XII class will celebrate our 20-year reunion during graduation weekend (May 2026) and Homecoming weekend (October 2026). Please try to attend both!
There will be an official schedule of university- and class-sponsored events that we will share when we know more.

Yes. The O Phi O XII Alumni Class is registered as a 501(c)(3) which means your donations are tax deductible. When you make your donations, you will receive a receipt from PayPal. Keep these receipts to include in your tax return.

Yes. The $500 dues include,
Your class gift donation to Hampton University
Class t-shirt and additional merch
Homecoming Weekend Events: Friday at Strawberry Banks, Saturday at the Ogre XII and a Sunday event to be announced.

Most likely. The planning committee is discussing community service opportunities during the May and October weekends and invite you to email ideas to ogre12info@gmail.com.

Yes. Individual tickets and merch will be available for purchase.

Absolutely! You can coordinate with the planning committee, a specific classmate, or simply make donations in an amount greater than $500 and they will be allocated towards our total goal.

The OPhiO XII Homecoming Tailgate will be a sponsored event. There will be a section for the Ogre XII class, along with food and bar access.

The planning committee is exploring the option to have a host hotel and hotel blocks for both graduation and Homecoming weekends. This information will be shared on priority.
